In other words, how many other people are keeping their city location as close to the chest as possible prior to the Mayors getting good enough to have both a militia and /grantzoningrights?

Yep. We have hinted, but really, I have died 27 times getting to my new city spot, it's so far in the sticks. If someone wants to come out and build by us, they are welcome to just because they survived. Before we decided to build our city there, a search in a 1.2km radius turned up 2 houses. On a starting planet, no less. The sticks indeed.
