I've spent the past 20 minutes reading through old threads trying to find this information, everyone seems to have conflicting stories.
I would like to know what the distances are, from NPC Cities like Bestine to PC cities like the one I and 80 of my fellow guildmates are planning on creating.
I've read many different things. One said that it was 1000m from a shuttleport, another said 5000m from a shuttleport, another said 2500m...
Does anyone have a confirmed word on this?

When I say shuttleport, I mean from an NPC shuttleport if that is in fact what the basis is.
I am more concerned with placing my City Hall at the moment. How far away from an NPC city do I have to be to place a City Hall?
Thanks.

Well, city radius being 500M at maximum, I'd say you should put your city hall 500m from the dev city no-build zone.

No, it would imply 550 from the edge of the actual city (ie pavement or far building) to the edge of your city. Or 1000 from the edge of the city (again pavement) to the center of your city.

The scary question is, are you speculating or is this confirmed?

You can place your city hall right next to the no build zone of an existing city. But of course, if you overlap the no build zone, you can't place buildings in that area.
