Thread: Hostile take over for guild wars...Your thoughts

I figure most mayors are alts. And I figure most people dont care about voting for mayor.
I have a alt toon who happines to be politician.
I was thinking of moving her into a rivial city with a couple of friends of mine and voting her in at very last second!
I would just change the name of the city to our guild name for fun and thats it.
Any thoughts?

good luck with it, from what ive noticed the voting is still kinda bugged

If you do plan on doing it make sure everyone knows its in good fun. On our server there was a big war and the rebels got the mayor of an Imp town to defect and take the city hall down. A bunch of stuff went down and a CSR came in because the citizens were pissed off. While that example was actually meant to cause chaos, I'm sure you aren't going to do anything like that, but I'd make sure people know nothing is going to happen to thier city and that is just meant as a joke or something.

You would be their mayor for the next three weeks. I think it's too long period to be just a good joke.

There is no last minute of the three week cyclke you can only join the election the first two weeks

To add .... also when you run for mayor, every citizen gets an email stating you have added your name into the runnning.
