Only one I can think of is if someone tries to run against me....if they win then they have access to everything and I wont...but I can move everything in case it looks like I could lose.
Then there is the chance the city could die but thats unlikely.
Ill have a ton of rare loot like full BH armour suit and RIS, all paintings, pearls, crystals, exceptional and legendary items.

Someone put my mind at ease please.

Tough call Frenzi, City Hall is perfect in my opinion and considered it for my painting collection & the few rares I have. Decided to use a house instead for the paintings & rare stuff I have.. The other stuff I have is in the guild hall, as I have set that up as more of a lounge than a meeting place. If a takeover were to happen, I would still remain admin on the guild hall as I own the building & lots. Just wouldnt be the leader any longer.
Guess another thing to condsider is will everyone consider the stuff yours or the city's as it is in the city hall. People now may know since you are starting it, but down the road. With new people being added and things not clarified to them.
It is a hard considering you cant predict what will happen in the future, but as my mother always says .. "Better to be safe than sorry".

Frenzi...your welcome to give it all to me to put on display in the Kintan City Hall.
and like Balibo said...I wouldnt put anyhting super rare in there....I have like 20 wookiee orbs in mine, and consider that the most I would risk...everything else goes to the actual museum.

you can always pick everything up if someone runs against you, and as long as you're around to make sure the city is active you should be ok.

Cheers all...decided to start decking it out and not having a seperate hall for musuem. City Hall seems perfectly suited for it, just a shame there is nowhere that can tell you how many items are in the structure

Q: How many items can a City Hall or a Cloning Center hold?
A: 250.
From the Politician FAQ. You can find it in here (also stickied): *****HELLO?_over_here!***** (updated 1/11/05)

I wish I had taken screenshots of my city hall before I pulled everything out of it from the "first version," but I'm currently redoing it as a temple. I actually feel safer about keeping my valuables in city hall because I know I'm going to be the only one that can touch them. I was so paranoid for so long about someone accidentally eating my melons. Just be sure to run in the race each week & keep some votes on there for you. I think in the majority of cases you have no worries about people trying to take a city from you. If you are worried about people thinking your stuff belongs to the city, just send out a citizen email saying that you are using your personal collection to decorate the space so it's clear from the beginning.

I'd be very careful.
When I lost my election it took me two days to find places to put everything. I had to put down a house, fill up the bank as well as my cantina.
I now have zero room for anything new
So the big problem is if people run against you semi regularly, then picking everything up and redecorating everything could become really frustrating.
The decorations in our city hall belong to the city. They were donated. So we have no worries there. I donated a bit of furniture for my office and the main hall was donated by me and various other citizens. The other room wasn't decorated as it was used for different events over the months.
I'm still trying to get back into office but I haven't been able to play much lately (maybe one night a week at most) so it's not likely going to happen any time soon
