Thread: Yet another issue that needs resolution
Have you ever tried to place a garden?
Which side is front? Back?
It is pretty important to get them right, as redeeding them tends to destroy major sections of your city.
True story:
I placed the arch pathway (large corellian garden). The slash on it went from upper left to lower right.
I placed the smaller pathway, intending to line it up. Reasonably, I assumed that the slash on that one should also go upper left to lower right.
Wrong answer. No consistency here, I'm afraid.
So I went to the second garden to redeed. Of course, in order to redeed it, it ended up removing four other gardens along the way.
In this time, I forgot which way the slashes were going, so I made the exact same mistake again.
Five redeeds later (AGAIN), I placed the large one, and then the medium one, with their slashes going opposite directions, yet facing the same way, and was pleased.
But did I really need to do a total of ten redeeds (or five, if I had remembered the unintuitive slash issue) to do this?
Issues:
-Gardens do not redeed properly.
- There is little or no feedback when placing deeds. We need a huge glowing green arrow saying FRONT on buildings, and we need some form of feedback on gardens for placement on them as well.
