Thread: Revamping Militia and Stronghold
I personally would like to see Militia revamped in the following ways -
1. Remove the ability for them to /grantzoningrights. This is just stupid to allow them to do this. By removing this you can make every citizen a member of the Militia and be able to use the "Stronghold" specialization effectively.
2. Militia can place certain faction structures anywhere, anytime, but the Mayor can pick them up but at a faction cost or have to add faction like Maintenance to redeed.
THEN
3. Zoning officials/Housing Inspectors, this could be a group that has the right to place structures and /grantzoning rights.
ALSO POLITICIANS that are in office need to be able to buy faction like Smugglers from HQ's in their city if they have the Stronghold Specialization. This would facilitate the use of RANKS in the game as a Mayor could offer Promotions in Award/MedalCeremonies.

I would rather that as far as zoning rights goes militia be changed in the way Youch1 suggested in City idea 2: Multi-rank militas. Basically he suggested there be 2 levels to militia and only high-level militia could /grantzoningrights.

Sounds reasonable.

I don't like this one simply because I am a smuggler, but I don't think any profession should overlap another. Smugglers can buy faction, let's leave it at that.
