Do player cities get anything out of having NPC Trainers or Mission Terminals placed, such as a percentage as income, discounts from City trainers, better missions, etc.?

If not, they should. The city should also get a percentage of the amount people pay to the trainers and would also be nice to get some sort of kick-back for mission terminals.

Player cities do not get any kind of payment for having NPC trainers or mission terminals placed. In fact, it costs the city to have them. They are not meant as a source of income as they have benefits of their own and actually act as another money sink for the economy.

For NPC trainers you are essentially hiring them to be available for training.

It has been suggested before to allow mission terminals to give a percentage of their payout to the city treasury which, to me, sounds reasonable.
