Searching the forum some and couldn't find this answer...
We're gonna start a city, but timing is an issue. I hate the potential disaster of the 24 hour limit. If the citizens all drop their houses w/in the future city radius and declare residency, can I come along later when there are 10 residents and drop City hall, automatically forming a city? Or do they need to come to their houses and redeclare in 24 hours?
Hope that made sense. Basically, can you turn a group of 10 declared residences into a city simply by dropping a hall?
Thanks

I believe if they've already declared residence in their homes, then they simply need to enter them in order to be counted as Citizens.

I seem to recall that I had to redeclare. And since there is a 24 hour timer ondeclaring your residence again, that may create a problem. You can't declare residency twice within 24 hours.
Don't have them declare residency in their house until after the City Hall is placed just to be sure.

Ooooo. Good point. I DID find an almost identical post further up the thread. Apparently reentering is all that's important if they're already declared, but I DO see that no matter what, they have to log on w/in 24 hours, so that blows away my original idea. I'll just hope we can get it timed right. We just have one person who is online very rarely. May just get a random person to take his place for a bit LOL
