I am currently having issues with the owner of my city's medical center owner. He has been passing crap buff sets to new doctors (telling them they are good stuff) which is making the city look bad as he is basically ripping them off, to make matters worse hejust (today)removed all the city doctors from the med center admin and banned my alt (and who knows who else) from the structure.

Apparently he prefers to only allow his guild to fully use the med center and place vendors in there because he uses it as his personal storage space. While I understand med centers do take up lots, if you don't want to donate the lots pass it to someone else who does. It's a city building its not meant to be a storage center....

My problem is this.. If I and the city doctors cannot use our own medical center WHY AM I AUTOMATICALLY PAYING FOR IT OUT OF THE TREASURY!??!?

Furthermore, why can't we as mayors have more control over our city structures?We pay for them, why shouldn't we control them? Mayors shouldnt even be able to be removed from the admin lists.. much less banned. The cantina is currently decaying because the holder of it stopped playing andI was worried he will just delete his account one day and we will lose the cantina and everything in it. The med center cannot be fully utilized because of one person's selfishness. I can't get the cantina deleted immediately so we can re-place a new one because it is "owned" by the lot holder (I've been waiting for it to decay for weeks now), I cant use the med center because it is "owned" by the doctor. To make matters worse I can't place a second med center for my citizens to use...

Perhaps this is a rant, but what the heck am I supposed to do here? How are we supposed to effectively run our cities when we have to deal with selfish idiots like this ?

[Med center and cantina are not civic structures. The city does not pay for them. The owner pays for them, including property taxes. They basically count as homes with special enhancements. The owner can (and should) do anything he wants with it.]

This Statement is Correct, They are just Player houses with enhancements, the city taxes pay nothing for them. Now if you as the mayor bought that Hospital for him then you might have something to say about what he does with it.

In my city, i have a doc with 2 hospitals, and 3 other docs all have their own hospitals, they make unique house with more storage than a medium and not many more lots.

As for the Buffs, What one player makes and sells in your city shouldnt reflect what the rest of the city is like.

As far as damaging your city's reputation, you could put up a sign (statue or streetlight with a custom name), that says 'City not responsible for quality of products on these vendors'
