This is a copy of the thread I posted on the Tech Support board...

Last night the city of Kaadu Vally, Naboo on Naritus went kaplut. We have been waiting patiently for two weeks now for this event to happen. As soon as the city hall disappeared, we tried to place a City Hall of our own elsewhere on Naboo. Still got a message that Naboo was capped. No biggie, we figured it would take a little while for the system to update. We tried and tried and tried to place our city hall and got the same capped message. About an hour after the fall of Kaadu Vally with no success, we figured that we would probably have to wait until after the server reboot in the morning. I submited a /bug and a CSR ticket.

Come this morning, we log on as soon as the server reboots, and still nothing. Naboo is capped. I get a reply to my ticket with some generic BS response. I can assure you NO ONE placed a hall there before we did. So, what is the deal? You tell me something like "well tough there's nothing we can do about it" you will lose yet another player. For me, this is the last straw.

What can be done?

Still waiting and no one from SOE has answered me yet. Ingame or out.

Have any of you experienced anything similar? How long after a city "decays" out of existance do you have to wait before you can place a new hall?

Is it possible some other group was waiting for the SAME thing to happen and dropped theirs a hair before you?

I know on Gorath when one city on Naboo fell, 3 parties were in race to replace it and one of them got it.

No one was at the other City Hall when it fell. I was inside of it. It fell a bit over an hour after the update.

I thought maybe this was it, but really don't see how it would have been possible other than blind luck.

Can anyone confirm that anyone in SWG has ever replaced a city that decayed for maintenance reasons? I've actually never heard of anyone trying that before.

Well on Naritus when we moved Maroj on Naboo we didn't have any problems...though instead of matinence running out we just had a CSR blow up the city hall...hmmmm, i was looking forward to that crafting city you were planning too jungahi

And about time, we placed a new hall about, i dunno, 30 minutes after the old hall went kaplut. So i have no idea whats causing it.

Might have to try again after server reset.

Not Sure if this is your problem, but when cities came out, some galixies would let Naboo go way over the cap I remember reading. That may have been fixed and now waiting for naboo to get to narmal caps. Just a thought, and another reason to have a tool to see just how many cities are on a planet, and at wich cap.
