I was just wondering if any other mayors actually get up and log in every single morning to change the ticket fee. It has become part of mymorning routine. Wake up, start loading starwars, go pee, run to city hall and change the travel fee, await good natured complaints from citizens about the daily email
, console them with the fact that I get 3 emails everytime I move a garden, start living my real life or continue to play SWG. My city is by Ft Tusken, and we can completely support ourselves on the shuttle fees, if I wake up to change them lol. 300 creds, 400 on Fri, Sat, and Sun. No other taxes whatsoever, except the garage service fee. If we got money from cloning, I'd lower the shuttle fee. My theory is that since we are providing a service to the entire galaxy by maintaining a city with shuttle near a major POI, people should have to pay for it. Its better than biking 5000m everytimeyou clone. Does anyone else do this every morning before you continue with the rest of the day? Especially mayors of cities near POI's, where you get more shuttle traffic.

Not near a POI - so I can stay lazy without really loosing potential income - even though for me serverdown is between 1pm-3pm.
But I have to /applaud to your dedication to set the fee every moring.

I was lucky enough to have my shuttle fee stick
Dunno what I did to do it though ![]()
My city is 500m south of the Hyperdrive Research Facility (badge location) and 1000m north of Captain Hassk's Rorigungan Swamp Town so we get a decent amount of sightseer traffic.

My shuttle fee stuck for about 3 weeks. Ah, those were the days. And my shuttle feedoesn't reset when there is a publish, go figure. You are a very lucky mayor. I'd pay any extra 100K a out of my pocket to not have to set the travel fee every day, day after day. Ironically, aside from interacting with my citizens and visitors, this is the most interactive part of being a politician for me
A little more purpose to it than running around my city finding new and interesting ways to arrange my gardens and streetlamps.
