Thread: Why do I have the feeling I'm about to get screwed?

So, I moved one of my existing cititzens into a bigger house, but she placed it wrong and had to redeed after she declared residence. She placed and tried to declare again, but guess what?

A wonderful system message told her that she had to wait 24 hours. I checked the city terminal and, yep, she's gone. Oh, did I mention that my city updates tonight or that this will now leave me at only 19 so we will not move up? Normally I don't complain about the game or the devs, but this stinks. I loose 100 xp and will have to wait another week to advance.

Maybe you can find someone to move in and knock you to 20 before you grow.


If not, don't worry, you'll get it next week. In the meantime, yeah, it stinks. It could be worse, it can always be worse.

Not sure about everyone else, but i noticed that after say the 4th week i stopped waiting for election. My advice would be to find someone to fill that gap (even temporarily if needed) then you can swap the citizens over.

Thing is.. they have made it the person who is holding the lots for the house is the only one who can declare there.
