Just acouple:

  1. Can you modify the prices for someone to buy a ticket to or from your shuttleport? If so, what price range?

  2. Does all the cash people spend to or from your shuttleport go directly into the city funds?

  3. What is the maintenance per week on this structure?

  4. What city level must your city be to build this structure? How many residents does it take to get this far?

  5. What skills must a Politician learn to be able to setup this type of structure? How much XP does it take to get this far? How much XP is one standard vote?

Answers to every question you have asked can be found with a little searching about, but alas:

1. You can add a surcharge to the ticket price, up to 500 credits.

2. The regular ticket cost (determined by distance between shuttleports) goes to the 'Galactic Travel Commission' - the surcharge added by the Mayor goes to the city funds.

3. 25,000 credits per week.

4. The city must be a City (Rank 4), which requires 50 citizens.

5. The Mayor must have Fiscal Policy 2, which would cost 3500 Politician experience. One vote is worth 100 experience.

Assuming it's initially no more than 500 credits to fly there without surcharge, I was curious how many people would pay the maximum additioanl surcharge if the city was located near a good hunting spot, NPC spawn, or popular vacation spot?

For example (I know this is not possible, no build zones available) would anyone pay the 2k credits to fly to Dathomir, then another 1k to fly over the tedious walk to the Nightsister City or Rancor plains?

Assuming that the destination is a popular place, and assuming that people would rather pay the cash than walk, that surcharge could easily pay for the shuttleport maintenance alone.

I have one more question however:

  • Do you modify this surcharge via the shuttleport itself, or through a terminal in the Town Hall? Is this surcharge and the shuttle Tax the same thing? or are they completely different forms of city economy?

It used to be 25k a week, then it went up. I'm really not sure what it is now, but it's significantly higher. I'm not of a mind to re-deed mine to find out.

Surcharge and tax are the same thing, I don't know where you do the actual modifications at though.
