Is there a timer for militia /warn, so that players have an opportuinity to leave the city, if they choose?

It could include a system message like "You have 30 seconds to leave the city limits or you will be open to attack"

If not, shouldn't the command be called /deathtoallwhocrossme , maybe /killallnewbs ,or better yet /decayondeath

The tooltip for the /citywarn command says that it gives the target 30 seconds to leave city limits before they'll become vulnerable to attack. I don't know if the target receives a message, but I'm guessing they probably do.

I'm kind of curious about this. Am I correct that /warn can be on citizens of the city? If this is so, is the following possible:

A player, who has a couple of houses full of items located in a fairly large city witha large militia that he has been a citizan of for for a while. One day he and the Mayor get into an arguement and theMayor tells the militia to run the player out of town. The player is /warned, earns a TEF, can't enter his homes and is run out of town. The player is put on all of the friends liost of the militia and whenever he logs on the militia camps his homes. He won't be able to enter them with the new TEF rules (correct? or is militia TEF different than faction TEF?), until eventually his homes decay, they poof and all his possesions vanish. In the mean time, the player is still stuck paying property taxes.

I know something like this is not very likely to occur, but if it is at all possible, it will happen at sometime.

Situations like the one posted above are why the Developers are afraid to give players any power. Like you said, it's an unlikely occurance, and I believe allowing the militia to have such power is a calculated risk.
