Thread: Just HOW buildable are areas in cities, that once were unbuildable

I have a massive problem with my guild right now. Basiclly, the majority wants to move to an area that has a nice island. But the island isn't all that big for a city. The mainland, just in shore from this island is pretty crappy. Its on Corellia, so you know how theres all those stupid cracks in the ground that look like MAYBE once were rivers. Those little quick down and ups. There's a TON of them. I know its said that land that was unbuildable before can be built on now within a city, but to what extent? I don't want to place a city hall and then find out the the area is as useless as I think it is.

Been wondering that also, I'm hesitant to build around holes in the ground on tatooine if there's a possibility those holes will be a non-issue come patch time.

If there are going to be delays in the release of the patch I'd love to see the building restrictions loosened and the ability to place different house types on each planet enabled for a week or so BEFORE the politician trainers are added to the game.

J'da, you'll be able to build in the side of mountains. Go for it, I say

Do the relaxed restrictions also apply to the new city structures, bank, cloning center, cantina, city hall....?

I believe they do not apply to harvestors.

I haven't seen any of the listed buildings on bad terrain on TC, so I can't comment there, but I did see a Merchant Tent that was placed halfway in a crack. I'll try to get some screenshots of the more extreme things I have seen.

That's what happens when you build the Naboo 'nipple' house on the side of a mountain.
