I was wondering if noone else is running for mayor of my town (new town) do i have to put myself in the race to gain the 300xp per vote or is it auto calculated since noone else is running. I had a city long ago on a diff. toon and now this has all changed to my surprise i only got 750 xp instead of the 100 per citizen like back in the day. So say my town has 21 citizens x 300 xp for those citizens when my city updates on the 3rd week i should recive 6300 for the the vote and 750 for being mayor for a total of 7050 xp for the 3rd cycle?
Am i getting all this right and please let me know if i still need to run although i am the only one running for the city at the moment.
Q. Do i still need to run on the terminal if noone else is on there?

if you want more than the 750/week then yes. Keep running each week to get the 300x XP.

A. If no one else is running, no. You will still be mayor. But... if someone else runs and votes for themself... that =one= vote wins it for them. Be very careful!
Also... you get 300XP PER VOTE. No votes, no points except the 750 for being mayor.
