Thread: Having shuttle issues after publish

Hello everyone


Since this new bug infestion - aka SOE named published hit today - i have found my shuttleport keeps going "unavailiable" - now while this has happened in the past a few times (more times then i would like to count) the shuttle works for a few days before this issue comes up again. Today alone in a span of 5 hours I have had to redeed and replace my shuttleport - as within a hour or so - the shuttle becomes unavailable. Any ideas? - my toon that is the mayor is an alt toon and it is very time comsuming to log him him - every hour to fix the shuttle - is anyone else having this problem since this newset infestion.......err publish?

is there anywhere else in your city where you can place your shuttleport? it might be a server boundary issue.

sadly my city is right on a server bountry i am aware of this - but not before this publish did our shuttle get so bugged so fast

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "unavailable".

that is the messege people get when they check to see when the shuttle will land - the shuttle stops showing up and all they get is a message saying "shuttle is unavailable"

I'm guessing there is no kind of system message stating when the next shuttle will arrive if you attempt to use the Ticket Droid.


Has anyone else had this happen after today's publish?

Yes my city on gorath has lost all shuttle activity, building is still there, but no shuttle. and all my trainers are gone but it still shows then on the city terminal as being there.

Yes, after reading this I tested to see if we were having the same issue. When you go to the ticket droid, and try and "use" him, it says "The shuttle is not available at this time." And yes, we have lost all of our trainers as well.

ok i just checked - my skill trainers are gone too - blah

The other thing i've noticed today is that the players that have used the House Packup Feature and moved into my city today their houses are 1/2 underground. Now i know it isn't the terrain in my city as I had temporary houses filling these slots before with no terrain issues and now whenmy citizens drop their packed up houses their house sinks. I don't know if this will correct itself at a server reset, but itcertainly is not very attractive.

i have had no shuttle problems and all my trainers are intact.. fyi it doesnt appear to be affecting all cities :/

I have a feeling that this is affecting only cities near a server boundary. Trainers disappearing are usually because of this. It seems fairly likely that it is the culprit for the missing shuttles, too.


I'll make sure this gets passed on ASAP.


*EDIT* Could those cities having this issue please post the waypoints of the affected shuttles? That way I can pass them on for further investigation. I also recommend filing bug reports on this as well.
