Thread: New Poli with Zip for Experience...

What if you were a new poli coming in to take over for a master politician? Would a shuttleport not work right if you didnt have the right box to even place it? ive seen before where you can shuttle into a city, but not shuttle back out of it and I heard this was why. Any help would be appreciated.

From the FAQ (you can find it in the main sticky thread entitiled "Please Read Before Posting"):
Q: If a Novice Politician is elected over a more skilled Politician, what happens to the city structures and specializations?
A: Absolutely nothing. Politician skill is used to place structures and is not required to maintain structures. Structures and specializations are reliant on the city rank to continue to operate.
As far as the shuttleport thing, it has nothing to do with Politician skill. When that happens it is because the city that the shuttleport was in fell in rank and lost their shuttleport. The system doesn't update properly which still makes it show up on the ticket purchasing window.
