Thread: Replace Militia with Council
It is obvious to me that the republic no longer functions...
Well it can't when we only have a handful of politicians and a militia concept that was stuffed in the design phase.
Personally, I'm not sure I have any opinion one way or the other with the /citywarn issue, however, if it goes, you might as well get rid of the militia concept entirely. Then when you've scrapped all the useless components of Player cities, you can get back to the real issue which is a lack of politician slots, and a lack of places.
Get rid of the militia, get rid of the stupid powers, replace them with real political powers, get politicians on councils, allow more players to play the politician class, and stop trying to drag cities into the GCW/PvP system. PvP and GCW people have enough stuff to blow up without hanging around cities. Give the cities back to the crafters, healers, entertainers, merchants and politicians and let the combat classes go blow stuff up in the Krayt Graveyard.
