I heard somewhere i can drop all my polition skills and novice and the person running against me will get mayor. Is this true? I don't want the City Hall to go poof. I thought to ask you before i did it! please answer me

I just read that she has resigned as the corrspondent and left the game so I don't know if she will respond to this thread...

As far as I read this is untrue, you are still mayor until the update, only you can't manage anything anymore. Plinka tested this in a very early TC stage, the city didn't go PUFF ... but she said rather not to test this on live ... wait till the update, that's safer

I am just looking for a way to get out of being mayor. Our city is full of lazy ass's that apparently cannot spend 10 minutes to go vote against me. We need a way to be able to step down. I have tried everything. I am currently taxing them...but no one has voted against me....

I would like to know as well. I dropped mayor last week a day before the election results but I'm still Mayor. I don't even have the Politician skill anymore

Just in time for the bug that takes the weekly update bug and makes it daily. Many cities are going to be lost thanks to this issue. Now we dont have someone to push this problem to the DEVs tables so who knows when this will be fixed.

Yeah every mayor is going to loose their city since ae can't keep up with the 250k maintence charge that occurs daily now. I am whining becuase evey mayor has ruined their charecter to become mayor and has spent so much time into make our city ( a good month) now its going to be destoryed because this bug. I doubt I'm the only one who feels this way. I would love to have Plinka back because he did a great job but now that he is gone the Biggest issue a mayor has ever had won't be heard since our rep is gone. So if you think I'm whining then fine be that way. But I don't feel like paying for this bug that is going to ruin a whole month of work.

No, the whiners didn't win. Plinka's unfortunate departure had nothing to do with the people she represented. In fact, it didn't have to do with any sort of 'politics' in game or out. RL is a pain sometimes yeah?
