Thread: WHAT THE...!!!! My city now says it has a null MAYOR!! WHAT!!???
I just lost my city it reads the current mayor is "null" and it was working PERFECTLY yesterday HECK even today before server up i was reorganizing trainers!! and i log on1 hour latertoday after server up to find my city without a mayor! i can even register to vote!!!! im even admin to city hall!
and no i didnt lose my city out of election
elections were sunday not today!
PLEASE HELP!, first my city drifts, THEN when they "fix it" i lost my cloners for 6 days and NOW i loose mayor!! who is coding the server code down there!!! escaped lab monkeys!??? i FAIL to see how a 2k patch intended only to grant everyone a holocron could have removed me from office but then again the coders at sony tend to make uber cataclysms every time they are "fixing" things.
anyone else having this issue?
If you become Null (this happened to me durring testing) there is a mechanisim that appears on your city hall terminal that 'restores mayorial citzenship'.
At least thats what happened to fix me on Test.

You know what, WE ALL GET IT. The player-city drift screwed your city. Why don't you mobilize your residents to get the resources or money needed to build a new one. It seems in every issue post that actual mayors are starting you feel compelled to complain about your circumstance. Adapt and overcome. Or at the very least don't be a spoiler for those of us that have other issues we would like resolved. Your situation sucks, we all agree with you on that, now do something to get past it and MOVE ON for pete's sake.
I ama PA Leader, and for what it's worth, a few months ago I was booted from the PA by a bug and we had a "NULL" leader for about 3 weeks. We could do nothing... invitations, anything. It took a few CSR attempts (this is back when it took them a week to respond) but finally one cool CSR took me to our PA Hall and re-instated me. I wonder if they can do the same for you? I am not sure how similar the situations are.
You probably have to find the right CSR, because my first two attempts were answered with "the devs are looking into it". Best of luck to you.
This situation could apply to me tomorrow, so I need to ask. Did the mayor have a residence in the new city other than the city hall? Because for some reason, I am a resident of another city and mayor of my own city. I need to know though if this is what will cause the city to go null on mayor? This is our first week as a city so no election results have come in before.

Well because I got nervous, I briefly placed a house down in city limits and tried to declare it my residence but apparently a mayor's residence is ALWAYS city hall. But to keep this short, the city updated half an hour later than it was supposed to but it did update just fine. Also we got our wookie life day orbs but I e-mailed the waypoint to a developer's character.
