Thread: Working with multiple guilds
4 guilds including my guild living in Alianza.
As mayor I run an un biased city treating all citizens equal. I really wish they would impliment city chat though. the other three guilds do what ever they like and run however they run. I do not require them to even be in town at all. They chose to live in MA for thier own reasons and I dont interfere with that. We also have tons of independent folk tht craft or solo or whatever... We are located 1021m from Ft Tusken so we get tons of shuttle traffic andare one busy city. Opening your doors to multipal guilds is a great way to expand your community. Like I said though, dont interfere with the inner workings of the other guilds. Our town is known as being " a DotA ran city" however all of our public buidlings reflect a neutral apperence as to promote a public oriented community.
hope this helps
We started as just our pa -- through influence have bought in individual non guilded imperials, and 4-5 other guilds, we set up sections so the guilds can stay neer each other if they want -- yes it is a hassle since the city is overpopulated and moving is a pain -- but all in all it works out, some are outside city limits, but -- it make sthe city work.
Add the pa leader of a pa as militia to place the other pa's houses,
send outa weekly to bi weekly newsletter (reminds me its been a month) --
take sugestions, take some pride, the best thing we do is keep 2 small imperial bases in the town , it brings more players to the town to defend it on raids, brings commerce to the shops, gets other pa's that are imperial to join.
It works out great -- word of warning though -- Tax changes, moving items etc -- will get you **edit** slapped, so I sugest sending out a mail explaining why the change.
City beutification is great to -- everyone would apprieciate a garden next to there home... wouldnt you?
