Thread: This Week In Politics 4/25
New Unity, Naboo, Test Center
We had a lot of traffic in the city last week from people who came to see the patch. Many of them asked about citizenship, but I'm holding off on processing applications until the traffic dies down, usually a week after patch. Most of the people who want to place a house in the city during patch time don't come back after the patch goes live, and we perfer to keep an active citizen base.
The treasury is doing well, but I'm having the opposite problem from many other cities. The city terminals shows my weekly maintainance as 471k, but we're only charged 421k every week. Since I've been testing all week I'll try to grab a QA to see what's going on.
We had a few trooublemakers this week... one of them tricked people and caused them to lose fp/money, and another (unfortunately from my own guild) took a small misunderstanding in the cantina and blew it up, causing a few side effects. I guess NU wouldn't be NU without the drama O.o
This is our first week at metro and all has been quiet. The three other guilds besides mine living in the city seem to be doing thier own thing. Th traffic at our shuttle port remains steady enough. When In town I see an average of about 12-15 people per hour come through durring prime time. I have pulled every decoration and fountain from the other parts of the city and only the main square remains decorated. This is an effort to audit the amount of cashflow through our city hall and determine if taxes need to be adjusted. I sent out my weekly letter explaining all my intentions and recieved zero complaints back thus far. My terminal says that I still have over 50 decorations
so that is kinda of desterbint when I know for a fact that I only have 22. We shall see if the numbers in the terminal change with the next city rollover.
I finally was able to upgrade from my small tat to a proper mayors mansion
at no expense to the city of course. So I beenspending some time decorating my pad. Mapped out or city using the city mapper tool <a href=http://swgplanner.tyger.org/view.html?mapwidth=150&mapheight=150&mapdata=ch.-3.-5.0/cg3.-3.-11.0/cg3.-3.-17.0/cg2.-6.-21.0/cg2.0.-21.0/tp.4.-22.3/cc.3.-13.3/ts1.11.-9.2/ts1.7.-3.0/gs1.11.-3.0/gs1.2.5.2/tm1.7.2.2/tl1.-10.-11.1/tl1.-10.-18.1/cl.-11.-24.1/cm.-11.-29.1/cb.-2.-25.0/cs.-3.-36.0/cg2.-2.-30.0/cg2.-7.-35.0/cg2.2.-35.0/ts1.-11.-35.1/tl1.4.-31.3/ct.11.-42.3/cp.-16.-26.3/tl1.-22.-25.1/tl1.-23.-17.2/gm1.-16.-17.2/gs1.-17.-12.2/ts2.-14.-12.2/ts2.-17.-8.2/ts2.-14.-8.2/gs2.-20.-12.2/gl1.11.-16.3/gs2.11.-20.0/tm1.9.-36.3/gs2.-26.-24.3/ts2.-26.-21.3/ts2.-28.-28.2/ts2.-31.-18.2/tm1.-36.-19.2/tm1.-33.-14.0/tm1.-33.-9.2/ts2.-20.-8.2/ts2.-24.-8.2/ts2.-24.-12.2/ts2.-27.-12.2/ts2.-27.-8.2/tp.-43.-28.2/gs1.-41.-11.1/tm1.-42.-5.1/gs1.-45.-5.0/fe.-62.-23.0/ff.-68.-18.0/ts2.-60.-34.2/ts2.14.-20.0/tm1.18.-21.0/ts2.16.-25.0/ts2.20.-26.2/gs2.23.-26.2/ts2.26.-26.2/ts2.25.-19.2/ts2.28.-19.2/tl1.24.-14.0/ts2.31.-19.1/ts2.31.-16.1/ts2.31.-13.1/ts2.30.-8.2/ts2.27.-8.2/ts2.24.-8.2/gs1.21.-8.2/tm1.15.-9.2/ts2.15.-3.0/tm1.21.-3.0/tm1.26.-3.0/ts2.32.-3.0/tm1.26.2.0/tm1.21.2.0/tm1.22.7.0/tm1.14.2.0/gl2.14.7.0/tm1.6.7.0/ts2.16.14.1/tm1.22.13.1/ts2.27.8.3/gs2.37.-3.0/gs2.41.-3.0/gs1.45.-3.0/ts2.49.-3.0/tm1.38.2.0/tm1.38.7.2/tm1.32.7.0/gs1.39.-13.1/gs1.44.-13.2/tm1.41.-18.3/tl1.41.-28.3/tm1.41.-34.3/tp.35.-41.2/ts2.33.-32.1/gs2.22.19.3/ts2.22.22.3/tm1.23.25.0/gl1.22.30.2/ts2.19.30.2/ts2.4.20.0/ts2.28.19.3/ts2.28.22.3/tp.35.16.1/gl2.43.12.3/tl1.46.20.3/gs1.62.13.2/tm1.-10.-3.0/ts2.-14.-3.0/ts2.-17.-3.0/ts2.-20.-3.0/ts2.-14.4.2/tm1.-10.3.0/gm1.-17.4.2/ts2.-20.4.2/tm1.-26.-3.0/gl1.-21.12.1/gl1.-30.10.0/fs.-28.17.2/tl1.-21.20.2/tm1.-37.16.2/ts2.-40.18.2/gl2.-39.27.1/mt.2.-37.2>HERE</url> It aint much to look at from the air as you can see but we call it home. Our original founders didnt comprehend how successfull MA would be when they picked this site for building so we have run into several turrain issues with building. From the ground though its nice
