Is there ANY way for a candidate to withdraw from a mayoral race once registered?!!!

we were going to vote in my alt but my main has more xp so we need to get the alt off the ballot.

does anyone know of a way? because the terminal forces a candidate to remain in the race once they register for it. there's no withdraw option. which,.. makes so little sense to me. lol.

Please if anyone knows a way to get her off the ballot let me know. (preferably without perminantly removing her as a citizen.)

well, you can just register your main, and have everyone revote for you before the city update.

Figured it out! only registered citizens can even run for mayor, soI had my alt pull her house and citizenship. It automatically removed her from the ballot, and now only the incumbant ie my main is on it at all, no one's running against her. ThenI simply re-plopped her house and renewed her registry for citizen, and all was well and the peasants rejoiced.

works as long as you don't have a ton of stuff in your house glad you have it worked out.
