Thread: Did your City disappear with Patch 10?!

Hi.
I have seen afew threads relating to Player City problems post Patch 10 and I though I'd start a thread here to get us some attention.
My city Darkfire (one of the oldest and largest) has not shown up on the Planetary map since Patch 10. It is a metropolis and right in the middle of the planet. We are still getting hundreds of visitors a day, so the Shuttleport is showing up, but not the city!
I have read several posts from other mayors experiencing the same... Over 20 on the last count.
Has anyone had any useful responses from the Devs or CSRs on this?

Yes, my city (and Anchorhead, and some NPC city shuttleports) disappeared from the CTL V map. I'm pretty reluctant to try registering again before I hear something from the devs on this.

Starsider had five or six large cities disappear from Corellia's map, all of which were Rank 4 or larger.

Problem:
Lost City(Player City) no longer appears on the map.
City of Kaadara no longer appears on the map.
Goontown (Player City) no longer appears on the map.
Dammit, fix it.

On Radiant, Mos Eisley has vanished with the starport and all shuttleports, Mos Espa has lost starport and shuttleports, and the Dant Agro Outpost is gone. This doesn't affect buying travel tickets, by the way ... it might be related to the problems Merchants are having, there are FAR too few vendors visible...

Most disturbing!
Sounds to me like the code for making merchants vanish has also affected Player Cities...
Any thoughts from our Correspondent on this? Thanks!

Yes, my city which is a Rank 4 and will be a Rank 5 in about an hour has been off the Planetary Map since the release of Patch 10. What a horrible patch imo. Anyhow.. I have been in contact with CSR's and they told me yesterday (August 31, 2004) that everything should have been fixed by today September 1, 2004. HAHA.. yeah right. So many cities are "missing" on the Planetary Map. You would think they'd actually get these things taken care of after so many player complaints. But leave it to SOE

Several Cities on Correllia Radiant server have disappeared Including my guilds city Pax City.
This ontop of the still not fixed tax bug that threaten several cities is starting to really bug me.

Dune Retreat, also a Metro and one of the oldest cities, has also dropped off the map.

Hmmm.. Still no official word? This is getting a little worrying!
I guess we will wait for tomorrow's patch and see if that solves any of the problems

Seeing how the politican board is visited by many of the Correspondents, Im sure this issue has been fowarded to the devs dispite a response from Pappi. I did notice that some cities did vanish from the plaenetary map today. Did any effected city try reregistering?

this isn't just a city issue, but a general map issue... stuff like NPC cities and vendors are also not showing up.
plenty of us brought it up today, so save me a bit of sanity
