Thread: Acting Associate Mayor needs help!!!

Listen ... our mayor has been MIA for 2 weeks now following a computer crash. We have delegated two militia members to hold AAM status i her absence, me and our guild leader/militia captain. Should our mayor continue her absence for another 2 weeks, we are considering voting in a temporary replacement mayor. I would like to see the town vote in a fellow townie so we can be assured that our current mayor may resume her possition upon her return, but would also like for it to be someone who would be willing to step up to the plate as a permanent mayor if needed.
Now I do not say all this to make me look glorified, but i would fit all these roles, AAM, Temp Mayor willing to step down or take over. I love the city i live in. The people are like family to me. We are small and humble, but it is wonderful.
So in ancitipation of a temporary replacement mayor being needed in the near future, is there anyway to grind politician xp other than being a mayor? I went ahead and got novice politician just in case the situation comes to such a drastic measure, but i have no idea how to use it. Please if someone is willing to help me, i can be reached at Internet = [email protected] as well as in game as Tempest.Laurnarose. Please, please, please help me help my city. Currently we just voted to allow the AAM's to continue to place townies in the mayors absence. So at least we can still grow. but we are eligible for a med center and cloning facility and cant place them because the mayor has all the city funds and items on her lol. so any help with how to get politician xp quick would be helpful. I am having to put my pistols on hold until the crisis is over, and if i get voted in and she comes back ... maybe forever, but to save my city ... it would be worth it. so please, please help me if you can with any ideas, information, etc.

Only way I see you grinding politician XP is register to vote and just make sure you loose until you decide to replace the incumbent. Each vote should give you 100xp on city update.

no ... i do not holo. but if it comes down to it ... a novice mayor would be better than no mayor unless we could find someone trustworthy to help.
