I think I made a pretty nice city.
I just cant stand the pop up buildings!
I would like to drive up from the distance and see my city from afar.
Remamber that movie..I think it was called STAR WARS, where Ben and Luke are up on the cliff looking down on Mos Eisley?
I want a screen shot of my city from far away.
I also set it up so when appraoched from certain angles, you would get different approach views.
But NO buildings pop up till yer like 100m near them (on a bike).
I know if you do a drive thru and load a portion of the city it will remain a little longer, but not enough for me.
My draw distance is maxxed and I have a 9800 ati pro.
Advice?
OH! I also noticed the City hall shows A LOT sooner! It must have different properties than the other buildings.
Bajeesus?

I agree completely it also negates the purpose of alot of the decorations like statues id like to have one on a little hill overlooking the city but atm there is no point cause nobody in the city would see the damn thing unless they ventured up to the top of the hill..... very lame ass system they need to increase the client options for hardware performance.

Do what I do... run to the edge of the city (swoop will work) then DASH to where you are going to take the picture from - if you time it well, you can get a good shot of distant objects.

The first picture was taken in the manner I described.

Yeah, if you aren't looking at the buildings it doesn't remove them from view.
To get a screenshot, I usually fly through the entire city at very high speed, get out a way turn around, look back and take the screenshot...immediately thereafter it starts to despawn buildings.
