Is there a way you can get a map of your city? I would like to revamp the city, especially with all the disappearing houses and large gaps now present.

Is there a way you can have both malls and factions bases, without the oppostion having leverage to attack your bases?

Such are the questions of a rookie

There's no button that lets you get a nice map, but you can activate your overlay map (ctrl+M) and walk around your city and taking screenshots, then patch it together in graphics application like Photoshop.

Of course you can have both malls and faction bases. If you want your merchants to sell to everybody, make sure you don't put any defenses near your commercial district. On the other hand, if you wish to only cater to neutrals and your chosen faction, you could surround your commercial district with minefields and factions bases . That would give smugglers something to do when the opposing faction wants to shop in your city.

And what exactly can smugglers do?
