I would like to see a complete list of the rank requirements for each possible city "enhancement". The manual is not complete on this. For instance, I was very dissapointed when I trained Fiscal Policy I as one of my first skills just to learn that I could not register our city on the map because we were only rank 2. That was really a waste of politician xp for me at the time.
- Is there a rank requirement for each city specialiation?
- Is there a rank requirement for placing faction terminals?
- What are the rank requirements for each of the possible commercial and civic structures?
- What are the rank requirements for each of the possible decorations such as statues and gardens?

Oh... I better inform other new mayors that rank 3 is the requirement for registering your city on the map. So don't make the same mistake as me.

The requiresments for specializations are not written anywhere, so it can be reasonably assumed that they are tied to the Mayor's skills and the requirements for faction terminals are also not written anywhere so it can also be assumed that it follows the skill tree for Politician. If you type CTRL S and view the skilltree for politician, you can see at what skill boxes the Mayor will gain what abilities. SOE has basically only documented things that are tied to the city rank, not the skills, because you can easily see the skill tied ones by viewing the skill trees.
There are no manuals or printed game guides that adequately reflect anything with Politician or any of the other professions in the game. Because changes occur so quickly, the only places to get up to date information are the advanced guides at www.starwarsgalaxies.com and the station.com forums.

Many thanks, Korrack. Your answers helped a lot.
I am not at all confident that the advanced guides are always uptodate with changes in the game. I think that this info should be in-game on the description of each of the politician skills.
