Thread: Ok, so why not a wall in a city?

Hi,
I know theres some debate over if houses should be able to butt up aginst one anotehr like the med naboo homes. Even though a wall can be made out of them, its not like you cant get in, it dosnt force ppl to stay out. I dont understand the big deal really. Im just wondering because im an upcomming mayor and this is a plan id like to do and all out citizens want it so whos it gonna hurt? Can i be inlighted on to why this is so shunned appon. And if we do go through with it, will it be removed by a csr?

Actually you can still go between medium naboos against each other, so there is no reason not to let them "townhouse".

it'd be nice if we could place actual walls, like the one at nym's or the fences at various outposts

Yeah, It was an early concept idea that was going to be added along with faction bases. It was never added in though. Would have been sweet. Especialy if they could be destroyed by like specforces or somthing.

taking out the ability of butting Med Naboo houses together does not prevent the creation of walls.... it just prevents the creation of nice looking walls. This can still be done with 4 lamposts and Medium Generic/corellian houses. (the lampposts will be needed to fill in a small gap in the corners. but these still butt up together and creat walls as well. But you can still lag through them as you can naboo houses.

At least there is a hard limit to the number of lights a city can maintain.
