I know this will accomplish nothing but its nice to have a place to vent....so anyway we need money to purchase resources to provide the guild with mines and rockets...simple matter of withdrawing 300k of guild money from the city treasury...but wait...I am only allowed to withdraw 50k a day? How silly and pointless is this cap? Its our hard earned money and yet we are not allowed to access it any time we see fit? I would imagine this inane resistriction was put in place to stop wouldbe mayor theifs from cleaning out a city treasury but wait...if some one has the potential to do that...DON'T MAKE THEM YOUR D-MN MAYOR! I was under the impression the mayor of a respective city was entrusted by the people of that city to manage it how he/she sees fit...so instead of being able to purchase said resources for very much needed defenses and rockets...we have to wait 6 days before we can use our money how we want? THIS MAKES NO SENSE! ok I am done.

gawd you think the cap is annoying in that scenario listen to this. My city may be merging with another(we vote on it tonite). the other city has a better location so we'll move over there. well we have a ton of cash in the treasury and guess what at 50k a day it will be months b4 its empty. so we might end up loosing it all

wow now that would be annoying...at least we are able to quickly purchase the resources and pay the guild member back 50k a day.

the cap is vital and should not be lkifted or changed.

99% of mayors are good mayors..

there ahve been cases where an out going mayor (being voted out) has seen that he is about to lose an election and started withdrowing 50K a day... sorry, but this is greifing imo.. why let them grief more by letting them totaly clean out the cities kitty?

heck, more than one out going mayor has destroyed the city (lifted city hall which is not redeedable) in the face of a loosing election...

the cap is to protect the residents of these cities, not to help you buy stuff.

it must stay in place for this reason.

Well thena 50k cap on withdrawls should only be in effect if the office of Mayor is in contention...so basically if there is true election race, more than one canidate up for the position, a 50k cap should be used. But if there is no one running against the current mayor he/she should be able to withdraw at least 50% of the total treasury funds...I am cursing the fact that I had my entire guild donate millioins to the city...that money is basically useless now b/c not many artisans/merchants take IOUs' or payment plans...

This isn't even worthy of bringing up with all the other much bigger problems with cities/mayors/politicians. And besides, it's bad enough that mayors can destroy an entire city just by destroying the city hall on a whim, they don't need to be able to raid the city treasury too.

The solution: tellpeople todeposit money in the PA HALL, not the city hall.

Btw, Nopec....one of these days when I'm not forced to do chef for my holo, I'll have the combat skills to take you on. No more cheap kills while I'm afk and healing in the med center. Or better yet, I'll get some people to blow up your Rebel HQs.

Well, 50K a day is imho enough for day to day operations. My 60ish citizens city has few needs for money. What do I need to buy? The gardens and buildings. These are usually not placed on a whim, it requires some planning and gives you time to draw some money in advance. In my case, if I need money now, I take it from my pocket and reimburse myself on the following days.

Best way to deal with the tall guys is to give them incentives to lick the ground. And dont look down on me that way youre not THAT taller.
