Hi all! Im relatively new to the politician game, having just recently been asked by the mayor of my city to take over the reins. My problem is this. Most of the residents of my city are very casual gamers, some rarely being on more than once or twice a week, as well, we have lost a few residents (some quit the game, others left the city and set up shop elsewhere) but their houses still remain and they are still considered citizens. Now we have tried for the last two weeks to get me enough votes to beat the incumbent ( who also voted for me ) but despite our best efforts I cant get elected because all the votes of people who are away automatically go towards our current mayor and I get edged out every time. I think we need an option for mayors to transfer office to another player. This seems like an easy hotfix and Im hoping everyone agrees with me. Meanwhile, if any of you more experienced mayors have any advice on how to overcome this stumbling block I find myself stuck on I would love to hear it. Thanx.......

Cities really need a /resignation command that will allow an encumbent mayor to step down after a someone stands for election.

I have a similar problem ... except that our mayor has been banned ... We are really afraid that the city hall might dissapear, since I don't have enough votes ... will it?
