Howdy all

Baj, I want to formally request this. There should be no reason that we cant have the ability for a Hotel to place jubilee wheel or slots.....SOE wants credits sinks....This is just like the shuttleport.....just give the city hall 5% on top of the wager....

The gambling in game is a blast....not sure if people really even ever go into a Hotel.......

I could elaborate forever on this topic but since this is already in the game how hard would it be to allow cities to have this feature...I can care less about the building if that is a problem...just have it so only the cantina's can host the machines....

What do y'all think?

I would enjoy it. I haven't gambled on them much since whenever I come into a lot of money I spend it rather quickly, it should probably be restricted to Cantina's so we can keep it only in player cities and out of randome homes. I wonder who should craft it though? Architects have data terminals after all but it seems like a droid engineer should get this since it requires some AI. Would be neat either way.

Yes. It should be a civic structure; provide income to the city; and be able to be placed only in Tier 5 cities.

Well I don't know where you live but I haven't seen too many slot machines sitting inside of a bus stop like structure, maybe in Vegas but deffinitely not in Chicago-land area. If you mean it as in creating a new civic structure (casino) that would take forever to implement since they'll need to create another building compared to just making an item craftable.Secondly why only metropolii? Many burbs have casino's and in fact grow primarrilly thanks to them. And even though I'd like a way to lessen the burden of maintenance if we make money off of people loosing shouldn't we also pay out for the jackpots? I really wouldn't want that to happen. If we're going to restrict it then a bar is the logical place, hopefully they can get sabaac and holochess in the game soon too so we can have some seedier atmospheres.

They just take the art for the NPC Hotels and shrink it 30%

This isn't a first past Political issue anyway.. or at least it doesn't seem to be in the final top 5 issues.

With respect to Metropolis (or higher) I think there should be a dis-incentive to sprawl and reward people for building larger Urban areas. I do think they need to expand Cities beyond Tier 5 too...

Howdy

I dont personally think the machines should be at a level 5 city. If anything perhaps a level 2 and above and restrict them to cantina's and city halls. If it is too hard for the Devs to implement that a city gets a % of usage then just make em like that of a mission terminal. These items are very cool and I doubt that they get much usage now in NPC cities.

The times that I've played these machines with a group of people it is a blast...There is alot of chatting and laughing going on....The game is suppose to be interactive after all.

If no one cares then I'll drop the suggestion but lets see if we can add this to our next top 5 list. If fits in perfectly for a credit sink that SOE is looking for. Just something new we can add to our cities that cant take much effort from the Devs.
