Right! Like lots of others Our town's (Mos Luna) Mayor has left the game and we can't geta new one because of inactivity etc.

BUT I just noticed in the Town Hall that there is 1900k in the Treasury, and 540k Expendature each week. Income tax for the 140 Citizens is 1k so thats 140k Income each week.

So that makes about 400k Expendature each week (Give or take Travel cost etc)

So if the 1900k Gets to 0000c in a Month or so will the Town Hall Dissapear?

This would be Good! and Bad.

Good: I can rebuild it as the Mayor and Live Happily ever After

Bad: We'd need to get all the Ranks etc again and i expect the Buildings like Shuttle will go.

So what i want to know is:

A, Will the Town Hall go?

B, How Long till it does?

C, What are the Consequences?

Thanks

First, youshould go ahead and run now. Get as many people as you can to vote for you, to get your 100xp per vote each week. Even if it's only25 people for 5 weeks, that's12500 xp ahead when you do get into office.

But are you saying that less than 70 of your citizens are still active that you can't even get a 50% majority online to vote? Remember that when the City Hall poofs, and you rebuild a new one, you'll have the houses of all those inactive players (now non-residents) cluttering up your space for the new town (that now is reset to the minimum radius) so it may never be possible to get enough residents to level up.

Well, The First week Of Voting I got about 45 votes and the last few weeks have been between 20 and 50 votes, So it is possible for me to win.

And Most of the Citizens are People that come on about Once a Month to check there mails etc.

If the Citizens are Declared at there resident wont it add them to the Citizen list of the new town because there In the Town Limits?

If the city hall runs out of money, it should go away like anything else. I believe parks and other city structures take the hit first and then eventually the hall goes away. It should take a few weeks to happen unless someone saves it with a sizable donation. If you city has that many inactive people my advise is to pick up and move. Those inactives aren't paying for your city and if they have nothing in the bank, the income tax doesn't even happen. Even if you could win, as someone else pointed out, you still have a lot of dead weight in a dead city. Best to restart or join an active city.

I believe the actual time frame is 4 weeks. But I don't know if during those four weeks you fall deeper into the hole or not. And yes, the city hall takes precedence. So let's say your city hall cost 100k at x rank, you have a bank that cost another 100k, a clone center costing 50 or whatever tons of statues lights etc. etc. etc. And you have 100,001 credits at the end of the cycle, you will first pay the city hall for that week and lose everything else. I know the staues, trainers, and lights go out immediately, but am uncertain as to how long it will take civic service buildings to poof, although I'm fairly certain they will remain for at least one week, or cycle.

Their houses would be subject to any property tax you impose, but I seriously doubt they would automatically be citizens of the new city.

If they are declared in the house and the city grows over them they will become citizens as soon as they visit their house
