Man, My city struggles so much but I know if we just had a shuttle we'd be fine. LOL, We've had over 55 people for like 3 monthes now and even without the shuttle alot of the citizens can be found in town each day. If they had a shuttle to travel through the city would get the money it needed. :^( Sad isn't it.

I hope they increase the cap soon. My city is stuck at level 2 even though we have 60+ residents in the 200M radius. Within the 300M radius we have over 100, all active yet we can't have a cloning facility because some joke of a city built entirely from server lot swaps is using a spot in the cap. Pretty lame that people have to grow their cities this way and deny legit groups from having a thriving city.

I definitely feel your pain, but it seems like Dantooine (the most populated planet on Radiant) is ridiculously slow because there are so many cities. On other planets with high caps, no one wants to live there, so there's little lag. But the great missions and POIs on Dantooine make it very popular.

I do tend to agree with the city size caps being somewhat unfair to those cities created after the expansion, on the big 3 atleast. Mainly because only the first generation cities are permitted to grow large enough to get a shuttleport. Unless of course one of those cities drops in rank to level 3 or grows too slowly to reach level 4 before one of the second generation cities gets there.

Although I don't advocate the original expansion of the overall city cap, I do say at least give everyone equal terms now that it's done. Maybe with a few exceptions such as planetary map registration. It really does look to cluttered, specially on dant.

yea, on our world 9 of the 10 first generation city have already reached lvl 4at the timethe second generation citieshave been created. At that time they told us it is just a temporarily cap and it will be removed in the near future. Well month have passed and nothing happened except the weekly mail "city advancement has been denied"

I have to agree with you silicon. As a matter of fact I have been experiencing alotof lag on the major planets since they doubled the city caps. As far as I'm concerned, they should have left well enough alone and not expanded the caps at all, but I know that's a sour subject for everyone out here.

I think the real problem here Other then the off-galaxy lot use, is the game requires a rank 3 for a shuttle, rank 2 for bank/cantina.

I think Most ppl (myself included) would love to keep a small city/outpost . They will have to realize if that outpost is to grow some day, it will need the correct citizens.

BUT PLEASE give the smalleroutpost/ townships the abilityto place the (rank 2 bank, cantina for the Outpost)

and (rank 3 shuttle port/clone center/med center for the township) and such. But leave the specializations for the Larger cities to be Perks.

We are a in a quite similar situation as second generation city

we are not allowed to advance

well i never encountered more lags on planets with more cities

but i also don t want a raise in the total cities number but a remove of the city level cap

it won t make much difference on the database if there are 10 or 15 lvl 4 cities, cause the most of the people are anyway living there. Our city is surrounded by several PAs who just wait for the raise of the city area so that they are inside the city.

The only thing i can say for sure, when the cap will not be raised or anything against the cross-server-citizens will be done, there will be more griefing and unfair tactics.

What i mean by unfair?

Two times up to know, people tried to bribe me with really a lot of creds. just to destroy my city to make place for theirs. And right now with some mayors already unmotivated and bored of there job it s just a matter of time till bribe tactics will be successful.
