The Senates FIRST rule is now...

1: If you have nothing good to say dont bother.

The Senates first order of business shall be to come to your city on Bria and tell you where exactly you can stick your statue. Hehe see now thats role playing.

Anyway its all meant to be in good fun MTolwyn. I didnt say you had to take part I just said if there are people who are board with doing nothing and feel this might be a fun way to spend some online time then why not. We are paying for the game so why not enjoy it.

Wether the senate is no more in this timeline is irrelevant. Thats just about as silly as having 100 jedi at a time there may have been 2 if that. Maybe even as silly as having REBEL Cities. Imagine that the Empire is traveling the galaxy looking for the hidden REBEL base when all they had to do was catch a shuttle to Theed or Tat or anywhere else in the galaxy and watch all the REBELS walking past. I would continue with examples but I think you get the point.

Its a game and maybe you havent been around for very long ( 32 posts ) but I have been here since beta and I feel I have done all I wanted to do in the game so I am looking for other things to keep me playing. If the devs dont add content for the politician class then we may as well try and makeour own.

My character is a master Politician/Architect. Hehe there realy is nothing for him to do in this game anymore. I log on and watch the clock then log out.

well first a little info

i have just a few post but i m here since beta and play about 10 hours a day so i guess i ve seen enough of the game yet to know what will work and what will not work

i m not against the idea of a planetary council but that can only work ona neutral, or imp or rebel planet

here on naboo some cities are fighting each other every day and with the upcomming features of factional cities this will escalate even more into a full scale war

and your idea sounds to me more like a group of people who ll have fun to mock arround mayors and cities

i know a lot of mayors and there are 2 basic groups of them

1) they are bored by the job and want to get rid of it and won t care about your idea anyway

2) they are doing the job because it s fun for them but they ve enough troubles with holding the city together than to care for senators running arround wanting to change the city layout

i run a democratic NEUTRAL city since the second generation cities have been created

am seeing this as a fulltime job and i don t have the time to care about people running arround and pretend to be an authority who want to tell how to run my city

I have to agree with ArthurP. On top of being mayor of my city Im also a CORE and founding member of the guild in my city. I cant/will not leave my guild to join anotherone. Running my city is a big task on its own, add to that running a guild and having 2 accounts. I do not have the time or interes on having alts on other servers. Also, I only take orders from my guild command structure and will not accept someone else to be running around my city trying to tell me what to do, that is just not acceptable and can also be seen as grieffing.

I think a kind of cooperation between other (same faction) cities is required in game but this is not the way to do it.
