Thread: We were never meant to Master Politician

I had a thought.


I hear arguments such as... "Politician is a waste of skill points" and "Master Politician is useless"


Maybe thats the point folks, but the DEVS cant admit it.


They feel the same way, but can't have Politician take zero skill points, so they let us dabble.


Point being, you NEVER are required to Master politician to get the full benefits of the profession like lets say, a doctor would be.


You can drop a bank, then drop the skill.


You can place your exotic gardens then drop the whole branch.


Once the city is set up, you really only need to use 15 skill points on novice.


So for the people who are saying politician should be zero SP's, well, it almost is...just 15 are req'd.


And for the people who complain that mastering politician gives no benefit, maybe thats the intention.

One problem with that theory....



citizen comes up and says "hey can ou place an exotoc garden in front of our PA hall?"


or


"hey mayor can we get a faction terminal in front of the shuttleport?"



to say "no" to the reasonable requests of your citizens because you are not selfless enough to keep your poly skills is completly out of the question for me. I realize there aint shiznit to being a master ecept title right now that is why I plan on dropping medical gaining my badge and title then dropping ONLY THE ONE MASTER BOX so I can get medical back ...(im a tka/fencer) but thinking your city is "done" is just wrong your city will always need changing your citizens will not tolerate "no changes" trust me its all or nothing in this profession. Think of the citizens not yourself.......
