Thread: Can a Mayor Resign if they declare residency in a different city?

Just wondering if it's possible, or declaring in a house outside the city limit temporary so a new mayor can take over.

Absolutely not. Many cities are in dire need of this ability right now, and the developers are not listening. Instead, the cities are going to turn into nothing but ghettos real soon. In October with the deletion of non-paid accounts, there are going to be an awful lot of ghettos out there.

I think this functionality will eventually come, but right now, it is a very big hassle to get a new mayor into position, without destroying the city's faith in you.
