OK, does anyone have any thoughts or ideas about this one:

I'm a member of a city on Naboo, Farstar (and my mate's the mayor - I'm writing on his behalf). The city is called Oceanside and is level 3, due to become a level 4 next update (at least I think it's level 4.. the one where you get the shuttleport!)

We were all hanging around the town last night, chilling out, raiding some nearby imperial bases and everything was cool.. My mate logged out in the city hall......

Logging on today, he found himself 8km from the town, but thought nothing of it.. "just a random glitch.. let's bike back to my city.. strange.. it's not on the map! Ah well )"

BUT (dun-dun-duh!) upon arriving, he discovered WHY the city no longer appeared.. the city hall has gone! Vanished! Poofed! It is no more! It is an EX-City Hall! Also, all the civic structures have gone as well.. clone centre, two med centres, cantina, bank, gardens etc..

We don't know what caused this.. there was over two million credits in the treasury, so it's not as if it decayed and went boom! Nor did he have any email of any description to possibly explain what happened.

We have put in tickets, naturally, but while we await a response, I was wondering if it had happened to anyone else at all, or if they know what could have caused it?

(Oh.. and I don't know whether it would affect it or not.. but my friend decided to re-start his mayor character.. as in delete it and make a new character to replace him.. however, he didn't think it through enough and didn't contact the citizens RE electing the new mayor.. We promptly got our guild (who make up over half the city anyway) to vote for the new guy with the aim of getting him set up as mayor next update.)

It's just occured to me now, as I type this.. Do you think this disappearing city could be due to the mayor being deleted?

Did you get your city back? Cuz if you hurried up and re-placed a city hall you could start over at Rank 1 and work your way back up....

We thought about that, yeah.. The problem is, that in preparation for our new shuttle port, we cleared a space in front of the hall (there is a mountain behind it) so none of the houses are within the range of a level 1 city. We will therefore have to move houses around, so we are debating whether or not to move the city anyway.. seeing as how it's already pulled up and stuff!

Could be fate! lol - we are destined to move the city
