This is assuming Cetirus Paribus with the city as of now. Its a reserved estimate as its highly likely (certain)the city will grow past 100 votes and as such could cut the time down to around 7 weeks, 6 at a push. I just did this maths on back of a piece of paper and will be writing it up soon. I kind of choose that path to fit the demands of our city. Anyway, there may be holes in this but until I get more time to path it out this is the progression of Ragnarok over the coming few months.

week 1 - 20 votes - 2k

Fiscal I / Martial I

Level2 City

week 2 - 50 votes - 5k

Fiscal II / Civic I / Custom I

Level3 City

week 3 - 100 votes 10k

Fiscal III / Martial II / Civic II

Level 4 city

week4 - 100 votes 10k

Fiscal IV

Level 5 city

week5 - 100 votes 10k

Martial III / Custom II

Level 5 city

week6 - 100 votes 10k

Civic III / Custom III

Level 5 city

week7 - 100 votes 10k

Custom IV

Level 5 city

week8 - 100 votes 10k

Civic IV

Level 5 city

week9 - 100 votes 10k

Martial IV

Level 5 city

Yeah, I am slightly dissappointed that they lowered the xp requirements. But still, staying in power of a 100 person city for 9 weeks is going to be a pretty decent challenge.

I like the change--months to get good movement on the xp scale seemed a bit much. With the new amounts, it's low enough that even a small town politician can advance reasonably, and it also means that in large towns you don't "lose" an inordinate amount of progress by having political diversity.

We'll see how it works in practice, of course.

That's not just a 100 person city, that's just getting 100 votes ina city ...

If everyone is in thecity is thesame guild though thats not really an issue. 100 people is (or at least it should be in most cases) the same as 100 votes. Not saying all citys will be like that just saying those that I predict will grow the quickest will be the guild cities. I believe what will happen is that guild cities will take a certain % of non guilded citizens on into their city to keep their majority but expand their population base when they hit level 5 city.

Then again I could be totally wrong.
