I'll rephrase;

Cities can hire trainers right, which goes into city maintenance. Right now on live servers, profession trainers require you to pay credits to learn skills from them. In player cities to residents still have to pay creditsto learn from profession trainers.

Good question. Does anyone know whether the money paid to trainers to train goes into the player city treasury or to the blackhole that it goes now? It should go to the player city treasury, but somehow I doubt it will given what seems to be the devs philosophy....

IMO, NPC trainers should still charge for thier expertise and the money paid to trainers should continue to go to proverbial black hole.

The weekly fee charged to your city for thier services is for them to sit around in your little po-dunk city

Agreed. Trainer fees are money sinks. Just like cloning fees, shuttle fees, etc... The city should not recieve income from these.

I think the city should get a cut at the very least... these things are expensive to maintain.

Set up a schedule for the people of your city to do the training. Why let somebody pay a NPC when you can train them and get the App XP?

Yes, NPC can only do the novice training, but it is not worth the cost just for that.
