Thread: New Mayor neds advice

Ok so the vast majority of my city has left in the great WoW and EQ2 migrations. With the few of us that were left in the city /Guild I was the one elected to take over Mayorship. Now we have the proble of peoples house/accouonts expiring and the city has shrank so that it cannot suport a shuttle.
Well last night I log in and Boom the Shuttle is gone. So my question is this. IF I can get more people to move back in will we be able to rebuy the sshuttle port or is the town doomed. I have only been the Mayor for a week so not really sure how anything works. thanks

If you get enough people to move back in to acheive Rank 4 (55 people), you'd have to get another shuttleport deed from an Architect. Once something poofs, that's it.
Take a look through the sticky at the top of the forum titled "Hello? over here" for some basic Politician/City information, too. It's got some good links for getting some of the basics down and tools for some of the more advanced things.

Only problem: even if you get enough people to gether could be the planetary player city cap ... only 10 cities on main planets (tatooine, naboo, corellia) and 25 on the "secondary" planets can be a rank 4 city or above ... so if you're planet is cramped and another city took your "shuttle-slot" you might have to wait for some time until another city falls a rank (as lots of cities are doing)

Yes that is my fear we are on Tat and I have a feeling that we will not be able to get back to the level we where because of all the cities here. But thanks for all the info. I will do more checking around.
