You get 300 xp for each vote you get, win or lose.

The cap is set really high(60k?) so no worries about capping out xp from one vote.

Hi

I was talking to someone about how long it will take me to master Politician. I have been at it for about 6 weeks. The said that they mastered politician in a fair amount of time.

45 citizens x 100 = 4,500 xp per week. whether or not citizens voted.

Now, the rules have changed.

750 week, plus 300 per vote every 3rd week. I can get about 15 votes from our base of 45 residents.

750 x 3 + (15 x 300) = 6750 / 3 = 2250 xp per week

So, with this new system I get about half the XP they did when they were mayor? Is this true? Is there no other way for mayors to get XP, no missions? Is there nothing we can to to gain XP like EVERY OTHER PROFESSION OUT THERE?

Do you know how long it will take me to become a Master Politician at this rate? If this is true, Politician must the the slowest leveling profession, by far!

The quickness, or slowness, of leveling of a politician all depends on the number of active citizens you can get to go to the City Hall once each 3 week period and click a button to vote for you. Gone are the days of the incumbent getting every vote automatically, no more will the ghost votes count.

So yeah, it'll be slower...

To Mastr Politician all I did was just took over a very active city It was back in the day when you got xp every week , Very Simple really because all the votes went to me. Unfortunatley it dosen't happen this way any more , but am sure you'll do it in the end.
