What will happen to the city that I am mayor in?
Our election isnt for about 2 weeks, someone is running, and I chose not to run this time. Can I delete my character and the city will still stand? Will it just transfer to the person running for mayor? What happens?
Any help would be great!!!
edited: CSR-JoseO just said that I couldnt delete my toon without the city going poof 
why can't it just default to someone who is running already. I guess I just wait for the election.

Don't run and don't delete. Let the elections run their course so the new mayor can take over. Once they safely have control of the city do as you wish. There is no point to taking any risks with the safety for the city

probably because if you can delete your char before the election if someone's running, what happens if that person withdraw from the race?
the city can't be mayorless at any time, which is why it poofs if you delete your char.

Well I can wait...just am not a patient person..I have plans to reroll my toon and create a new one for stictly RP purposes
