Thread: Can my Wife/Husband/Life Partner vote? And other random questions.

Let's just say I share a large home with someone and they don't have any dwelling to call their own except the one they share with me that is under MY lot. Will they be able to vote at all since the system works for property owners?
That was my serious question where I tried to be PC in the title. Now onto other things I'd like to poke fun at (remember, it's all in good fun):
1) In Imperial towns, do non-human characters get a 2/3rds vote (much like how they get the shaft on FP purchased items)?
2) Can mayors create tax brackets to tax the rich more (or less, depending on what kind of person you are)?
3) Can we build train tracks through town so I know who exactly lives on the "wrong side of the tracks"?
4) Can I somehow prevent random people from logging out in my city's streets because I don't want homelessness rampant in my city?
5) And if I can't force them to leave before logging, can I rent out my spare house or the downstairs rooms of my spare guild hall as low income housing so that more citizens can move into my town? But then again, this brings me back to the first question of whether persons with shared residencies can vote...
My goodness, #5 lends itself to a whole new profession, Landlord. Novices can be slum lords and masters can be the Donald Trumps of the town...

Might as well add appartments in as one of the city buildings now!

No, if you share a residence with someone you can not vote, but it would be very in expensive to just place a small home (under 10k) somewhere nearby and call it your storage shed. But each person must own a declared residence in order to vote in an election.
