I know some of you are going to end up being politicians simply because nobody else wants to do it. But how many of you actually WANT to be a politician? I've been wanting to be a politician since day 1, but I've been patiently waiting.

If those of you who do not want to be a politician are looking for one, get with me in game. Rebels only, please.

I have wanted to be a politician since it was originally announced that the game was coming out! I played a politician in UO and loved it...

I've wanted to be a politician since back before beta when it was originally in the game. This profession has a ton of potential, it would be really cool if later in the game you could elect planetary governors and maybe even a person galaxy wide.

Yeah, I remember reading this site a month or so before the game was realesed and skimming the list of professions. As soon as I saw the politician as one of them I knew that it was my life long calling. I have wanted to be a politician from day one, and definetly still do!

Politician at heart since day one. Well, since about April of 2001. I actually changed my mind once I got to play with PvE in this game, and didn't want to do it any more, but got reined into it again, and now of course I'm rarin' to go all over again.

I have wanted to be a Politician since I was 12 years old.

ok well i didnt want it from the begining like most of you. But as i played i found that pvp didnt hold myme as much as i thought it would, pve is kewl but been there done that. too much harvesting for crafting so im looking forward to somehtin else. some thing that requires me to plan and think in a more abstract way. somthin where the chances of me being ganked are low. where socialisng all day in a cantina or at the star port isnt just bcs i want xp but bcs im networking. ih yes this sounds like fun to me

I wanted to be a politician before beta when it was one of the original professions in the game and I've been waiting paitently for player cities and politician to be released. And I also think it would be awesome if they made an elite profession based off of politician, something like governor. I don't know, but I think it would be awesome if in time they expanded it somehow. Anyway, I'm just glad it's finally being released.

Since politician hasn't really been 'here' I haven't bothered worrying about whether to get it or not. Now that it is more imminent, I find myself actually looking forward to a profession where I simply can't grind and have to 'go with the flow' so to speak.

You may think talking to people is a grind, I don't. I do it as a natural part of working for my guild/faction, so its just par for the course. Clicking on the same button repeatedly is a grind, talking to people is interesting.

I have been wanting to play a politician since the very beginning in 2001. I chose another profession because of the delayed cities, but I always planned to be one. Bothan smuggler/mayor seems a nice RP combination, too.
