Ok... I know that updates happen once a week for a city. But is that for all cities on the planet or does each city have a different update time?

Only reason I am curious is that our city dropped to rank 3 from rank 4 (thanks character purge). Well our shuttle stayed around the whole week until the next update. At that time we had more then needed citizens for the rank 4 again but the update destroyed our shuttle and left us at rank 3. (yes I have sent a CSR ticket about this) So I was just curious if cities updated at same time or could another city have gone thru and update and therefore capped the planet so we could not get back our rank. Which I think is a silly way of doing it since it let us keep our shuttle for the whole week after demotion which implies giving us time to get numbers back up.

Sorry for the bit of a rant but it is frustrating to seemingly having a chance of getting things back only for it to not happen.

Any information will be appreciated.

City updates are unique to the city, they are seven days (server up time, so they will slide over time) from the placing of the city hall or last city update. so yes another city most likely took your slot as soon as you dropped to rank 3.

Well that sucks since our shuttle stayed for another week making us think we had a week to get it back before losing it. Heck they even charged our city treasury for the shuttle before they blew it up.

Most of the citizens are ready to cancel accounts over this, especially since we were one of the first cities on the planet when they opened it up and even one of the first to reach Rank 4.
