I've never posted in here before, I'm not really a politician, just came into acting mayor out of our mayor disapeering and me having their acount info...

So here's my problem:

My city is in Naboo, and for the past three months has been relativley dead. Most of the founding members have stopped playing the game, and the founding guild only has two active members left (me and my fiance)

for the last month we have been teitering just above 55, trying hard to keep the shuttle around, as the city is a good 2km from the nearest NPC shuttle, and without a shuttle port the fiew vendors left in town would pretty much drop to no commerce, and recruitment would be nearly imposible.

Also, lately, as more and more houses of people who have left the game start running out of maintanence, tax revenues are dropping fast. To counter this, I removed almost all trainers, and parks, leaving only facilities, and our research center mark. Still every week we loose about 150k (which I am currently paying out of my own pocket to keep).

We had a new guild move in, which is offering a small glimpse of a possibilty of a return, but right now things look very slow, and with very few new players coming into the game I am wondering if I should start contemplating the disbandment of the city. I can't afford to keep it running on my own, and raising taxes won't help if it's taxing houses with no maintanence. I am hoping that some people may come for JTL, but I have a large fear that will just prolong the death only a few months.

So... I am looking for advice, should I just let it go, or fight to renew it? Try to get some new life back into the city perhaps. It has been very hard to do and am willing to listen to suggestions.

I'd try to keep it afloat til mid November, or maybe even Christmas if you can. With JTLS & maybe some Christmas gifts, might be some new life coming in.

Yeah, I made a char in tempest to get start a new, and found someone, fell in lovem, and decided to never come back to kette, hehe
