well, the old FAQ was written by our previous correspondent, and the advanced guide - player cities is SOE's. I can't really update either one, and I really don't have the time right now to start one from scratch.
most of the questions people ask ARE answered in one thread or another on the sticky thread up top, it's just that most folks don't bother to look.

Excellent proposal.
I for one try to go over the FAQ's and not inundate people with easily found information and spaming always asked questions in new threads.
However in just reading the day to day boards I am now faced with very embarrassingly re-emailing the citizens to let them know we will not be an industrial society in 5 weeks....

is a bit outdated. This is SOE done, not even a pol forum made FAQ like you see in most other forums, so I thought it would be 110% accurate. Not quite. Mind you still have the printout by my computer for easy reference and question answering to members of my community =)

yeah, I've complained about that many times (to forum mods, devs, anyone that might listen), but it hasn't been changed yet.

I am not really sure how recently it has been updated, but, well I read it and I see tons of posts here in these forums asking questions. Well I just wonder if that whole thing should be updated.
I have a question that is not even answered in the sony manual wich we know is crap, but you know. its also not in your FAQ.
At what populations are the city updates. I know it used to be in the manual but I think they got rid of it at some point.
And with all the quick questions on these forums right now maybe they should all be added top the FAQ.
I dunno I was just bringing it up. It is clearly a huge task to do something like this, but It looks like it might be time to do so if at least bring it back to the attention of the posters.
anyone have my answer? I am sure you do.
