Thread: Master Politician box....any point in having it

What is the point in being a master politician if you dont even get anything from that box. all it does is take skill pts away. Why not add something in there? Maybe, no, yes?

Well there used to be something in there. A skill to add a second city specialization. But it was bugged so they removed it

The point is the prestige... which I think is less than amazing....

No not really.. Save yourself the skillpoint unless you want the badge (or pick it up, get the badge and then drop it again).
Once your City is established there is no need to go anywhere beyond 0/1/2/0 unless you like redesigning your gardens all the time.

No, no point, actually if you have the experience to get a few boxes at the spur of the moment, there are many others you can drop too

im just saying that if they are going ot have a master skill box for politician then why not put something there instead of it being so useless. Pappi yell at these ppl about it say we got issues we want a master skill box to be worth something.

the master box gives the badge and a title... and...uhm.. that's it. i got it only because i got the skillpts available anyway.

I'm afraid that there's no real benefit for having the Master Box of Politician. I mastered myself, but eventually the lure to try something new caused me to drop down. Don't get me wrong, I love this profession, I've been a politician since the first day of the Player City patch. Unfortunatly, it just didn't make sense to keep 77 skill points tied up in something that I wasn't getting regular use from. Sure it felt good to wear the title, but it just wasn't practical to continue to keep it.
Kind of like advancing to a Rank 5 City. The only benefits are 50m more in the city radius, and the prestige of being a Metrapolis. That prestige is in pride and bragging rights so to speak. IMO, the cost increase of the city hall at rank 5 isn't worth it, I would much rather stay a Rank 4 City.

So true, thats why I plan to stop advancementat rank 4. Until there is some benifit from being rank 5, there is no point.
